About Me

I offer counselling from a Humanistic Framework which is Trauma-Informed and Neurodiversity Affirming to people aged 18 and over. I am a warm and approachable person and I am here to support you with whatever you would like to bring to your counselling sessions. No matter the issue, we will work through it together, at your pace whether that is long-term or time-limited. You are welcome to contact me to book a free initial 15 minute session where we can discuss starting your counselling journey.

I welcome people from all walks of life, backgrounds, religions/spiritual experience, ethnicities, disabilities, neurodivergence (whether formally diagnosed or self diagnosed) and I am an active LGBTQIA+ ally. I work to the ethical values and principles set out by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions (2018).

I offer clients a confidential space free from judgment. I will meet you as the person you are and offer you empathy and acceptance around whatever you wish to bring to counselling. I exclusively work with clients on a one-to-one basis.

I provide counselling to people either online through Zoom video call or face-to-face sessions which are based in my counselling room in Waterlooville. Please contact me to discuss availability.

Qualifications

BA (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling- In progress

Level 5 Diploma in Humanistic Counselling- The University of Chichester

Certificate in Counselling Skills- The University of Chichester

BSc (Hons) Psychology - The University of Buckinghamshire

Within my counselling degree I have completed modules in Diversity and Inclusion (including LGBTQIA+ issues in counselling), Brief Therapy, Professionalism, Creative/Expressive Arts, Humanistic Frameworks, Human Development, Attachment and Trauma.
